Upcoming Shows
*
Major Lee
Saturday, Feb. 4th.
7pm.
Major packs a lot of talent into a very young performer. One of the youngest guitarists to be featured at the "Woodchoppers Ball", and a participant in the International Fingerstyle Guitar Championships in Whitfield, Ks., Major has chops coming out of his chops. This will be Major's debut at Vino, but it won't be his last time. Come on out and check out this unique, talented and vibrant young talent.
*
Jim Volk
Friday, Feb. 10th.
7pm.
I'm trying to figure out how to describe what it is that Jim does with a guitar in his hands, but those words aren't in any dictionary I've seen. I've taken to wearing a chinstrap just to keep my jaw from continuously dropping onto the floor as he does what he does so amazingly, magically well.
The Great Room is the perfect place to fall under this wizards magic spell. Come see if I'm prone to hyperbole, or if Jim's really all that and a magic hat.
*
Bejae Fleming w/ Milan Kacic
Friday, Feb. 17th.
7pm.
BeJae is one of those slices of homespun Americana good time fingerpickin' fun that just makes you feel better about things after you've sat and listened to her coax and cajole and stomp the music from her heart through her guitar and right out the bottom of her foot stompin' feet. Even though her partner in rhyme, Jackie Blount, won't be in the house with her, Milan will be a most enjoyable addition to the evening.
*
Jeff Bell
Friday, Feb. 24th
7pm.
Art comes in many forms, and Jeff Bell expresses his in just about all of them. A very talented multimedia artist who has exhibited his art in our VinoArt Gallery, Jeff makes his debut as a singer/songwriter/musician extraordinaire at Vino. Although this work isn't framed and hung on a wall, it's still very evident that it is the work of a passionate artist. Vino Where You Live is proud to host this very talented musician.
*
Brian Henke
Saturday, Mar. 3rd
7pm.
As much as musical shaman as musician, Brian plays his music with the passion and grace that comes from his deeply held belief that music is indeed magic, and the world needs good magic. Brian delivers GREAT magic...sweeping, moving, grand magic with a flourish of just downright amazing guitar wizardry. Brian loves weaving his spell in the Great Room, and we love providing him one of his favorite spaces to get down and wizardly.
*
Joe Rollin Porter
Friday, Mar. 9th.
7pm.
Hop on board the freightrain of the fretboard and experience this wonderful slice of old time Americana filled with vibrant, imaginative guitar work and heartfelt vocals. Joe could be the adhoc mascot for the post office, because he always delivers the goods. Big, bold, blindingly fast yet delicately intricate heaping helpings of goods. Come on out and feel good. You'll be glad you did.
*
Eagle Grove
Saturday, Mar. 17th
7pm.
Jason and Jennifer Parker make you feel their passion and love for the music they make together...much of which is music they fell in love to and stayed in love with. This musical duo brings their heartfelt vocals and beautiful guitar to the stage once again for the enjoyment of us all. They packed the house last time, so make your reservations early.
